Sometimes, when Ryan's kids are in town, we let them drag the mattresses off their beds and into the living room for a 'sleepover' with their dad. And then I get the humongous California King sized bed all to myself. So it's awesome for everybody except Ryan who always has to sleep in the middle and then wakes up every morning on the floor, wedged between the two mattresses.


And then, if they do that on their last night here, sometimes we let the mattresses stay on the living room floor for (ahem) a few days. Because there's nothing like having an entire room you can lay on.
