The first round of photos from my grandma's old camera.

A few months ago my grandma sent me her old Canon AE-1 camera. 
It's big and heavy and takes 35mm film, and it is so fun to use. 

Here are a few of my favorites that I took at the end of December and the beginning of January. 








Needless to say, I will be using this camera all the damn time. Even my mistakes look cool.
And um, I'm never scanning them so sloppily again, haha.

    That's rad! My mom gave me her old AL-1, and I've had so much fun with it. These are great.

    dk - I feel like a whole new world of photography just opened a door for me or something less cheesy sounding.

    suzy - Me too! All my pictures look like they're from the 70s. It rules! And totally, I'm all popular now? hahaha

    These are sooooo great! There is NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING like FILM cameras!!! Keep it up, these would be great blown up and framed on the wall!!!

    This is effing awesome. I've been pining for an old analogue camera for ages. There's a few cute ones on Etsy I'm so tempted to buy...the temptation is getting bigger.

    Yay! I have an old Pentax K1000 that I now want to dig out. My friend also sent me a polaroid camera, but I can't find any film for it. :(
