on the bus I was trying to read but could only hear the teenage girls behind me
"LIKE OMG N JUNK BLABLABLA I'M A TEENAGER AND MY CELL PHONE RINGS ALL THE TIME BUT IT'S SET TO SOME TOTALLY AWESOME TOP 40 SONG THAT, LIKE, YOU WOULD KNOW IF YOU WEREN'T ALL OLD AND JUNK OR WHATEVER LIKE UM YEAHHHH"
then, as they were getting up to get off the bus after dinging the bell I heard a chorus of
"EWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! OMIGOD EWWWWWW"
Now, I don't know if you know this about Victoria busses, but it's customary to yell "thank you" to the bus driver when you get off the bus. I don't usually do it because ... why?
Anyway when these girls got off at the next stop, rather than yelling "thank you" they yelled
"THERES PUKE IN THE BACK"
then the driver almost hit a girl on a bike. Probably because he was thinking about how he has to clean up puke when he gets to the magical place busses go?
The thought of having to clean up puke is nature's version of text messaging. No one should ever do it while they drive.
